Committee

The Australian Lipid Society is governed by a management committee comprising four office holders - President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer - and up to two general committee members, elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting. The current committee was elected at the Society’s inaugural AGM in February 2026.

Conference Organising Subcommittee

In accordance with clause 9.13 of the constitution, the management committee has appointed a Conference Organising Subcommittee to oversee the planning and delivery of the Australian Lipid Meeting. The subcommittee comprises:

Term of Office

Committee terms align with the Australian Lipid Meeting (ALM) cycle. Each term commences at the closure of an ALM and concludes at the closure of the subsequent meeting, to a maximum of two years. Elections are held at the Annual General Meeting, typically convened in conjunction with the ALM.
